Canis Major Isis has been an outstanding champion from first litter sired by Spartacus.

Isis has won: 2008 Heartland - Best Open Bitch; 2008 Artic Blast - Reserve Best Open Terrier; 2008 Northgate - Reserve Best Bitch; 2008 Midwest - Reserve Best Bitch; 2008 JRTCC National Reserve Open Bitch.

Along with Pat Weber, Isis has a very busy social calendar, she is involved in conformation classes, obedience and has begun to display her athletic side in agility training. She has just completed her first photo shoot for Wahl Clippers in an advertising champaign. She appeared in fall of 2008 in her first television commercial for Harris Bank. She has just completed her first jumpers leg in the Novice Division in NADAC Agility. Isis assisted Erin Tack with her participation in JRTCC National Youth Agility and Conformation. We can't wait for Isis's next exciting adventure!

 

 

  

 

We would like to congratulate Sue and Doug Tack on having such a wonderful first year with their Canis Major Smuggler. Smuggler is the handsome son of Spartacus and Canis Major Mojo. Smuggler won third place in puppy racing at both U.S. (above photo in blue collar) and JRTCC Nationals. He has acheived numerous conformation wins, such as Best 4-6 mo. Puppy at Russell Rescue, Inc. Trials, CT, Best 4-6 mo. Puppy at Farmstead Terrier Trial, NY, Reserve Puppy Champion at Jacks on The James, VA, Best 4-6 mo. Puppy at Sunnyhill in New York, Third Place - Conformation 9 - 12 mo. Puppy, U.S. National Trials. He has also excelled at go-to-ground. He appeared in an episode of the series "Dogs 101" about Jack Russell Terriers on the Animal Planet Network.



Canis Major Venus.

Congratulations to Joan and Jesse Crouse and Canis Major Venus for their wins: 2008 Farmstead Terrier Trial, (NY)-Reserve 4-6 mo. Puppy Champion; 2008 Northgate Terrier Trial I & II, (NJ) - Reserve Best Bitch Puppy. Venus also placed 5th at the U.S. National Trials in the class of numerous terriers (9-12 mo.) Bitch Puppies. Venus is a beautiful, elegant female sired by Foxnorton Whinger out of Canis Major Adhara.

 

 



2007 NEWS
Canis Major Vertigo is from one of Canis Major Spartacus' 1st sired litters. This is Vertigo at her 1st show. She went on to win five of six shows as a puppy. We are extremely proud of her outstanding performance.


Fox Run Spartacus has surpassed any expection we could have for him in 2007. Spartacus has acheived multiple conformation wins which include 2007 JRTCC National Best Open Terrier Champion and JRTCC Best Foreign Bred Terrier.


Spartacus is also the 2007 recipient of the Jock Reid Memorial Trophy for Best New York Bred Terrier by winning all four (4) New York trials required to earn points. Most importantly, Spartacus has a wonderful temperament and is so loved by our family.!

2007 JRTCC National Trials

The long standing tradition of the Bagpipes usher in the 2007 JRTCC National Trials.



We would like to thank the trial chairmen and all of those who are so dedicated to create a wonderful National Trial. This was our first time to attend and appreciate the hospitality of our generous hosts.

Foxnorton Whinger has had another expectional year. He has won multiple Best Family. We are so proud Whinger has begun showing this year with his Generations Class and has done very well. After three national championships in the United Kingdom he came to live with us at five years old. He has become an vital part of our breeding program. Whinger is consistent in producing type along with exceptional temperament. These are two very important qualities to us. At eleven years old Whinger is CERF normal and he just keeps going! Whinger is a true English Gentleman, kind, proud and dependable. Fox Run India won Reserve Best Open Bitch.
